Take five minutes to listen to your thoughts

in

You need a 7 Day BrainwashWith all the hustle and bustle of life it’s easy to forget to be quiet. I just thought you might enjoy a little nudge back into silence, even if it’s only five minutes a day.

Instead of thinking, letting your mind be busy-busy, spend a few moments noticing yourself thinking. Watch your mind. Be amused as it wanders here and there, reminding itself to get this for dinner, you still haven’t sent a card to so-and-so, what if it rains at the weekend…? Allow it to have it’s meanderings while you just observe it. As you do, notice that there are gentle rhythms of life in the background – you breathe in and out, slowly, gently, without force, nature taking it’s course.

Do ten minutes if you can.

Then quietly get up and carry on with your day noticing how refreshed you feel.
